How to Measure Your Pet

Yellow-Planet-Standards

Follow our measurement guide to choose the most suitable size for your pet. Accurate measurements ensure a comfortable fit and allow your pet to move freely without restrictions.

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

  • Soft measuring tape (or a piece of string and a ruler).
  • A notebook or your phone to jot down the measurements.
  • Treats to keep your pet calm and cooperative.

Step 2: Measure Key Areas for Size

A.Neck Circumference
Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your pet's neck, where a collar would naturally sit. Ensure the tape is snug but not tight.

B.Chest Girth
Measure around the widest part of your pet's chest, just behind the front legs.

C.Back Length
Measure from the base of the neck (where it meets the shoulders) to the base of the tail.

D.Neck Height
Measure from the base of the neck (where it meets the shoulders) to the top of your pet's head.

E.Face Circumference
Wrap the measuring tape around your pet's face, just in front of the ears and under the chin.

Step 3: Additional Tips

  1. Ensure your pet is standing in a natural and relaxed posture during measurement to obtain more accurate data.
  2. If your pet is uncooperative, ask a family member or friend for assistance, or wait until your pet is calm before proceeding.
  3. For snug-fitting designs, it is recommended to add 1–2 cm to the measurements for chest girth and neck circumference to ensure a more comfortable fit.
  4. Please check the stretchability index of each product on the product page:
    • Knitted products generally stretch over 5 cm and offer more flexibility.
    • Non-knitted products have limited stretchability, so choose the size carefully based on the product's characteristics.

Step 4: Compare and Choose

  1. Record all your measurements.
  2. Compare them with the size chart on our product pages, or contact us for personalized recommendations.
